We have received many nice items for our silent auction on Feb 11th. Some of the more valuable items are a jacuzzi room at the Days Inn, a poolside room at Ramada Inn, a Bluetooth Headset from Basic Communications, one month membership at Hard Bodyz, one month membership at Snap Fitness and many other very nice items to bid on.
The Grayling Lions Club accompanied by Santa distributed candy canes and stuffed animals to residents of Mercy Manor, Grayling Nursing Center, and Wargo's Nursing Home on Wed., Dec 21st. On Friday, Jan 20, 2012 The Grayling Lions Club provided a free Kidsight Screening for preschool and early school aged children at the Crawford County Devereaux Memorial Library from 10 am to 5 pm. This screening gives an indication of vision problems that may be present in children. Those problems include near and farsightedness, astigmatism and others No appointment is necessary and parents may accompany their child during the screening. Twenty six children were screened and three were found to need referrals to their eye doctor.
On Sat., Feb 11, 2012 the Grayling Lions Club will host its 2nd Annual Cabin Fever Reliever breakfast and silent auction from 8 am to 1 pm at the American Legion Hall. Come enjoy Chef Ray's cusine. Donations suggested.
